After happening upon a vegetarian food festival that was serving up 10,000 free ‘meatless meat’ burgers, a few weeks ago we asked our facebook friends
“Would you eat a burger that tasted like meat but wasn’t meat?”

Marj Wingrove I’m vegan. Since last October. My tastes have completely changed. I will eat a vegan burger. If it tastes like meat, I wouldn’t like it. If it tastes like lentils, beans, and vegetables, I love it. I have also lost my taste for cheese-like food. -

Tim van de Ven I would and I have; the veggie burgers made by Yves have a texture and taste that is very similar to most mass-produced hamburgers (which contain a lot of fillers, such as breading). -
Suze Sternberg Katz i dont eat very much meat, hot dogs, salami ans bacon dont count as real meat lol but i can say that when i want to eat them i want to eat them and not something that tastes like them -
