Happy Holidays!

Here’s to an incredible,fun and delicious year.Thank-you for being a  burger lover whether you are meatatarian or a vegeatarian.. a burger is a burger! and it tickles me to know that you also love Broads.They are more than babes or barbies.

Next year is a whole new journey.It will be nothing like you have been seeing so far. Because you are following this blog you will be the first to know when it comes time to splatter the ketchup.

On another note as you may have noticed we do things a little different around here.No advertising per say but we do make a home for those who want to be associated with the likes of us.Every once in awhile I put it out there to invite others to have their website banner on our site.

Happy Penis Day! March 15th

As mentioned in a previous post..Besides the regular,traditional,’normal‘ Holidays if you will, It seems there is a “DAY” these days for everything and I mean everything! under the sun.

If you think it.It IS possible.

There’s Skipping Up & Down the Street Day( July 31st),

National Pie Day (Jan 23rd), National Hamburger Day,(May 28th) No Socks Day( May 8th) Embrace Your Geekness Day(July 13th) and the list of DAYS goes on and on with just too many to mention here

“Honen Matsuriand” (better known to us Western folk as Happy Penis Day) I found of interest as it is a day celebrated in Japan, a custom relating to  renewal and fertility.The festival’s main features are Shinto priests playing musical instruments, a parade of ceremonially garbed participants, all-you-can-drink sake, and a 280 kg (620 pound), 2.5 meter (96 inch)-long wooden phallus.

And then there’s  the American skewed version?

Steak & BJ Day (March 14)    but i digress,that’s tomorrow.

As i just said..if you think it.IT IS Possible, so I googled ‘Penis Shaped Burger‘  What would be the chances? Afterall, Penis is synonymous with weiners, hotdogs and  sausages.

I was disappointed. I did  NOT  find a single thing.

So, dear Lovers of Broads, I have no recipe or penis shaped burger pics to share with you but if you are male and so inclined to make your own and want to share it with a loved one here’s a fun and easy 1,2,3,4 ‘How To’

National Pie Day

It seems there is a *Day* for everything imaginable these days.

Valentines Day,Steak & BJ Day, Skipping Up & Down the Street Day,National Burger Day to name a few..and now, National Pie Day.

so.. couldn’t resist to share this OMG, this looks like it tastes like it’s multiple Burgasm worthy!!! especially when you want to leave the buns behind.

Cheeseburger Pie

9″ unbaked pastry shell
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
1 can tomato sauce (71/2 oz.)
1 cup grated cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mustard
dash Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

Combine beef, spices, onion, green pepper, bread crumbs and tomato sauce. Pour into pie shell. Mix remaining ingredients together and sprinkle on top of cheeseburger pie. Bake for approx. 30 minutes at 400 degrees F.
